Ricky Skaggs and The Whites perform at Country Music Hall of Fame Medallion Ceremony
Ricky Skaggs and The Whites (Buck, Sharon and Cheryl) were honored by entertaining new Country Music Hall of Fame member Ferlin Husky and the invitation-only crowd at the prestigious Medallion Ceremony on Sunday night, May 23, at the Hall of Fame's Conservatory lobby. Four of Ferlin's hits were performed by various country music stars to honor him. Ricky Skaggs and The Whites sang Ferlin's classic crossover #1 hit from 1960, "Wings of a Dove" and encouraged the audience to sing along. After the performance, they came down from the stage to greet Ferlin and his family.
