Country and Bluegrass music legend Ricky Skaggs and his ace backing band, Kentucky Thunder are set to play six final regular season shows this year!
Skaggs got his start as a professional bluegrass musician before turning to more mainstream country, where he created his own lively, distinctively American form of music by infusing his traditional roots into the contemporary Nashville sound. Since he struck his first chords on a mandolin over 60 years ago, Skaggs has led one of the most significant careers in recent country music history, including 15 GRAMMY Awards and being selected as a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame – the genre’s highest honor.
