]]> Due to severe and unsafe weather conditions forecasted for North Georgia and much of the region, we regret to inform you that the Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder concert scheduled for January 24 at the Heard County Performing Arts Center has been postponed. The safety of our performers, staff, and you, our valued audience, is our top priority, and we believe this is the best decision to prevent any travel risks.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this last minute change causes.

The venue is working to find a new date and will announce it as soon as possible on their Website, Social Media pages, and through emails to the venue’s patrons.

This past Wednesday, Skaggs Place Studio had the pleasure of hosting filmmaker Chad Bonham as he captured footage for his upcoming documentary series The Gospel of Rock & Roll, featuring the legendary Jonathan Cain of Journey.
Ricky Skaggs was interviewed by Jonathan as part of the project, adding his own voice and perspective to the story. The documentary tells the story of the American Church’s influence on modern music and the artists that have emerged to impact.
