Three Ring Circle (Rob Ickes - dobro, Andy Leftwich mandolin/fiddle, and Dave Pomeroy - bass) are world renowned instrumentalists whose self titled debut cd was nominated for IBMA "Instrumental Album of the Year". They have worked with everyone from Chet Atkins to Earl Scruggs to Alsion Krauss, but as Three Ring Circle, they have created a unique style and sound all their own. Their second CD, "Brothership," features 6 originals co written by all three members, 2 compositions by Leftwich, and well chosen covers by John Scofield, Ralph Towner, and Tom Petty, whose song "Wildflowers" is sung with bittersweet perfection by special guest Jon Randall Stewart.
